Last night, Crystal DeStefano presented the award for “Community Partner/Advocate of the Year” to Syracuse-based St. Joseph’s Health at the 2015 Excellence in Health Care Awards event.

DeStefano nominated St. Joseph’s Health for this award, and her remarks included some of her and her family’s positive experiences with St. Joseph’s Hospital, as well as an overview of St. Joseph’s community initiatives focused on preventative care to help create greater population health and to help provide the best care while addressing the increasing costs of healthcare.

The event was hosted by Biz Events and the Business Journal News Network, sponsored by Bankers Healthcare Group and held at the Lodge at Welch Allyn in Skaneateles, NY.
