NBT Bank’s Maine Regional Office is now open at its convenient new location on Portland’s waterfront. NBT moved from its previous location in the Pierce Atwood Building on Merrill’s Wharf to its new space on the third floor of 5 Widgery Wharf.

“This new space will better serve our growing client base in Maine,” said Kimberly Twitchell, NBT Bank Maine Regional President. “We are committed to Maine and have big plans for continued growth here. Having a more convenient and visible location will allow us to work with our clients in a space designed to address their needs.”

In addition to the new banking offices on the third floor of 5 Widgery Wharf, there will be a new walk-up ATM located on Commercial Street, and the second floor will house the actuarial team that provides support to NBT’s EPIC Retirement Plan Services subsidiary.

NBT’s new office location is part of a deep and ongoing commitment to Maine that extends beyond the bank’s growth. NBT is actively engaged addressing the critical housing need in Maine through affordable housing initiatives in excess of $36 million. NBT is also active in supporting community programs in Portland and surrounding areas and has contributed more than $150,000 to organizations and causes in Maine.
