Onondaga Community College hosted its annual Celebration of Success breakfast this morning at the SRC Arena and Events Center. College President Dr. Casey Crabill and SUNY Chancellor Nancy L. Zimpher were among those in attendance. The event honored student scholarship recipients, generous scholarship donors, and corporate and community partners whose contributions are important to student success. Three distinguished Alumni were named “Alumni Faces” for their professional achievements and contributions to the College and Central New York community.
The Celebration was followed by a ribbon-cutting for the stunning new architectural marvel on campus, Academic II. Onondaga’s newest building spans a 60-foot high gorge and is anchored by the College’s signature Music program. The building contains a 150 seat recital hall, soundproof practice rooms, 8 smart classrooms for use by the entire campus community, and faculty offices.
