150th Anniversary Campaign for St. Joseph’s Health

The details of a 150th Anniversary Campaign for St. Joseph’s Health were announced at a press conference today. With a goal of raising $20 million dollars, this capital campaign is the organization’s most determined philanthropic endeavor yet.

Key Projects:

Key projects in three critically important areas: cardiovascular, breast care, and nursing education. The projects that constitute this ambitious initiative include:

  1. The initiative’s touchstone component is the construction of a new Center for Cardiovascular Care that will allow the hospital to truly become a destination center for all cardiac services by providing a dedicated space for the integration of services to enhance the patient experience and to provide for the highest quality of efficient care. St. Joseph’s cardiac program is already the most awarded cardiovascular care in the region, and is ranked in the Top 15 in the nation.
  2. As part of an advanced Breast Care and Surgery Program, St. Joseph’s Health is investing in new equipment and facilities, and an enhanced level of care in collaboration with affiliate St. Joseph’s Imaging Associates. . By re-designing the current Breast Care and Surgery suite to provide access to more comprehensive services in a single location, St. Joseph’s Health, in partnership with St. Joseph’s Imaging Associates, will offer a superior patient-centered model of care.
  3. St. Joseph’s College of Nursing has adapted its teaching, programming and equipment for the more than 50 years since the College it was originally constructed, but now St. Joseph’s is investing in the actual building to better meet the size of the student body and today’s technological requirements.

Additional Announcements:

During the press conference, St. Joseph’s leadership announced that $12 million has already been raised toward the $20 million dollar goal to fund these major community healthcare projects.

Upon completion of these three projects, St. Joseph’s has next phase plans for an updated Women and Children’s Unit, renovations to the Center for Orthopedic and Spine Center and expansion of our community-based Primary Care Center-West.
