Elizabeth Greenaway has been named professional advisor to the PR students in the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) at Penn State University. Professional advisors are counselors to the student officers of the PRSSA Chapter as the students learn how to run an organization, raise funds for their operations, develop and host programs for students, recruit student members and leadership, connect with other groups on campus and across the country, and more.
Greenaway served as president of her own PRSSA Chapter while she was student at Susquehanna University, and remains involved in both the professional organization Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) and mentoring students in PRSSA.
She is now on the board of directors and serves as the social media co-chair for the Central Pennsylvania Chapter of PRSA, and teaches a course on social media at the Pennsylvania College of Technology.
